Like any adventure, buying or selling a home is both an exciting endeavor yet also a daunting task. Planning and goal setting are paramount to a smooth transition. Unfortunately, as we all know, sometimes the best-laid plans can fall short if you don’t have the right guidance.
Working with a broker can alleviate much of the stress associated with the process, provided that the broker is a seasoned professional, offers outstanding customer service, and has specialized knowledge of the industry.
My unique background, which separates me from the other real estate professionals, has allowed me to help hundreds of clients reach their goals over the past 20 years.
During my career, I have been actively involved in residential real estate as both a licensed broker as well as an appraiser completing over $100 million in transactions and conducting nearly 7,500 appraisals. I was named to the Hall of Fame at my prior brokerage and earned an MBA, giving me a solid background in finance, marketing, and sales training. I offer the perfect balance of skills and service to help my clients through the buying and selling process.
Whether I am working as a listing or buyer’s broker, not merely an agent, I help clients value their homes, negotiate complex transactions, and smoothly execute deals during one of the most critical purchases in a person’s life. I feel my calm demeanor makes what could be a stressful situation, a walk in the park for my clients.
My integrity compliments my knowledge. I pride myself on being trustworthy, patient, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the industry. Most importantly, I strive to ensure that my clients are well equipped to make important life-changing decisions.
I am fortunate that over the years, clients have had a lot of great things to say about me, but feel the below accolade sums up my personality. It’s just who I am.
“From the first communications to closing, he was responsive and willing to go above and beyond. He went far beyond what I expected of an agent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone - you won’t regret it!”
My career began in the summer of 1990 when I received my real estate license while still a student at the University of New Hampshire. I spent the summers renting apartments, and that is where my love for real estate began. After graduating, I spent time designing sales training programs for various technology firms in and around the greater Boston area.
In 2000, I entered a one-year intensive MBA program at Babson College, concentrating in marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
After earning my MBA, I was drawn back to the real estate industry. I became a residential appraiser, helping manage an office of 10 appraisers. My appraisal practice, which I continue today, only enhances my skills as a broker.
Outside of work, I live in Newton with my wife and two children (and my dog Daisy). I am active with my children’s various activities, local charities, CrossFit, hiking, skiing, biking, and tennis. I am a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
